People use tags as a way to keep track of things that interest them, so of course they will see your post. And of course they will get offended. And of course they will call you out on it. In my opinion, they will be justified to do so.
And please don’t say, “omg guys, stop over-reacting. I can’t dislike this show/ship/character/person?” Of course you can. You are free to say that you hate something. I respect your right to have a different opinion. By all means, rant on your Tumblr about how much you don’t get why people ship this, or love this show, or what have you. That’s what blogs are for.
But don’t tag your hate.
If you do that, then you are being deliberately rude. You can easily state your opinion in your post without making sure that people who like said show/ship/character will see it. It’s like you want to mock them for enjoying something you find distasteful. And that’s mean and disrespectful.
But you know, it’s just my opinion. Do whatever you want. But keep in mind that if you keep tagging your hate, you’re just revealing what a colossal asshat you are to the rest of us.
