Hey. Hi.
Can I stand up for myself for a second? I’m kind of tired of this attitude of, “All you did was copy a photo.”
I would like to clarify, if it’s cool. I use references because I draw photorealistic portraits of popular characters. I’d hope that would be pretty obvious. But that’s not all I do. I mean, I know I’m not the most dynamic artist, but it took more than just “copying a photo” to make those four drawings up there. None of those images existed before I drew them, which is a fact shared by everything I make. Even if it’s a boring old portrait, it’s never just a copy of a photo.
Anyway.
