Only the jumper must be coloured to enter! All of the background is optional. 

You can edit/redraw/overpaint or not even use the lineart. You can change the picture in any way you want as long as John and his jumper remain in roughly the same position.

All art styles allowed but photo tracing is not.

Entries are being judged on wit, creativity and originality as well as artistic ability so even if you just write a slogan on the jumper you’re in with a chance.

For the longest time, Lestrade did not know why John Watson came back. He had never physically left, of course, but for the first four months after Sherlock’s death, John lived as though he were a ghost himself. Quiet, and with a far off look in his eyes, he would only speak if spoken to first, and even then it was done in a politely concise manner, and the subject would be quickly dropped. He continued to help out with perplexing cases, but he did so with little enthusiasm, and Lestrade had a feeling he was only helping to keep himself busy.

Then, abruptly, John came back to life. He gradually began speaking more, his eyes became more clear and focused, and sometimes, if Lestrade was quick, he caught the shadow of a smile on his features. The sadness was still there, and the dark circles under his eyes told Lestrade he still wasn’t sleeping much, but there was definite improvement. When the detective tentatively asked what had sparked this uplift in mood, John answered vaguely that he got himself a pet; a half-starved cat he had found in an alley and decided to take in.

It wasn’t until Lestrade saw the feline himself, and it turned its cunning, blue eyes on him, that he understood.
